Scotland NC500, 2021
The North Coast 500 offers a few permutations, including clockwise and anti-clockwise routes. But each one delivers excitement across roads that reward with unforgettable views of the Scottish wilderness, and which will test the driver and their car to the limit. Our 2021 tour took us up past Loch Lomond and Loch Ness, Aviemore, and on to Thurso – the most northerly town on the British mainland. We then travelled anti-clockwise along the northwest coast, over Kylesku Bridge and on to Ullapool. We continued to hug the coastal route and sampled the famous Applecross Pass, and the mountains of Glencoe, on our way south to Bridge of Orchy. Our customers brought along two Nissan R35 GT-Rs, an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, Porsche 997 GT3, Honda S2000, Aston Martin DB11 Volante, Golf 7 GTI, Porsche 991 GTS and Turbo S, and a Jaguar F-Type – definitely a convoy of ‘rolling thunder’ through the glens!
“My wife and I joined the tour around the NC500 in summer 2021, and again in 2022. Both were fantastic trips. They were really well organised, and we met super-friendly people from which we have made new friends. The driving, scenery, and socialising are all fantastic. We can’t wait for the next one!”
